Faith Zone

The Millennium Dome, London

Faith Zone was one of the eleven located in the central arena of the Dome, comprising a detailed exhibition relating the story of the Christian faith relative to other religions within the UK. The exhibition consisted of graphic displays and audio visual representations, enclosed by 4.8 m high curved walls which defined the interior space. The structural masts formed a ‘crown’ at the central point, from which a tensile fabric membrane structure was suspended, enclosing the central contemplation space in which a light installation designed by American artist James Turrell was incorporated, to evoke a personal emotional response to the experience.

Completed December 1999
