Welcome to Ejal.com (“Ejal,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ejal.com and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
3) Eligibility and Use of the Service
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
4) Accounts and Security
Some features may require creating an account or claiming a listing.
You agree to:
Provide accurate, current information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access
Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5) Directory Listings, Claims, Verification, and Ejal Certification
A) Listings
Ejal provides a directory where architects and architecture firms can maintain profiles and publish project work (“Listings”).
Listings may include information provided by:
the listed business/architect,
users,
public sources, and/or
Ejal’s own directory curation processes.
B) Claiming a Listing
If you claim a listing, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of the architect or firm associated with the listing.
C) Verification
Ejal may require verification before a listing is published, before a listing is claimed, or before certain features are enabled. Verification methods may vary and can change over time.
Important: Verification is intended to support trust and directory integrity, but it is not a guarantee of licensing status, quality of work, insurance coverage, or suitability for a particular project unless Ejal explicitly states otherwise in writing.
D) Ejal Certification
Ejal Certification (if offered) is a designation that may reflect additional review criteria set by Ejal. Certification criteria and processes may change, may be suspended, and may be revoked at Ejal’s discretion if we believe standards are not met or information provided is inaccurate.
No endorsement: Verification or certification does not mean Ejal endorses, guarantees, or warrants any architect’s or firm’s services.
6) User Content and Content Standards
A) User Content
The Service may allow you to upload or submit content, including photos, project descriptions, logos, text, links, and other materials (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Ejal the rights described below.
B) Your Responsibilities
You represent and warrant that:
You own or have the necessary rights, permissions, and consents to submit User Content (including for photos, renderings, trademarks, and any third-party materials).
Your User Content is accurate and not misleading.
Your User Content does not violate any law, contract, or third-party rights (including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights).
C) Prohibited Content
You may not post User Content that:
Is false, misleading, or deceptive
Infringes intellectual property rights
Contains confidential information you don’t have rights to share
Is defamatory, harassing, or abusive
Contains malware, malicious code, or attempts to disrupt the Service
Violates any applicable laws or regulations
D) License to Ejal
By submitting User Content, you grant Ejal a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting/display), distribute, publicly display, and otherwise use your User Content to operate, promote, and improve the Service, including marketing Ejal and showcasing listings and projects.
This license continues as long as your User Content remains on the Service and for a reasonable period afterward for backup, legal, or operational purposes.
7) Intellectual Property
The Service, including the Ejal name, brand, logos, design, text, graphics, and software (excluding User Content), is owned by Ejal and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works, reverse engineer, or exploit any portion of the Service except as expressly permitted in these Terms.
8) Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant Ejal the right to use it without restriction or compensation.
9) Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. Ejal does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
10) No Professional Advice
Ejal is a directory and information platform. Content on the Service is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional, legal, architectural, engineering, financial, or other advice.
You are solely responsible for evaluating and selecting any architect, firm, contractor, or service provider, and for verifying credentials, licensing status, insurance, references, and suitability for your project.
11) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EJAL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
EJAL DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE
LISTINGS OR CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR UP TO DATE
VERIFICATION OR CERTIFICATION WILL IDENTIFY ALL RISKS OR ERRORS
ANY PARTICULAR RESULTS WILL BE ACHIEVED THROUGH USE OF THE SERVICE
12) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EJAL AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EJAL’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
(A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID EJAL IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR
(B) $100 USD.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13) Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ejal and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:
Your use of the Service
Your User Content
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of a third party
14) Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we reasonably determine it is necessary to protect the Service, users, or Ejal.
You may stop using the Service at any time.
Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and Governing Law).
15) Copyright / DMCA Policy (Recommended)
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact legal@ejal.com with:
Your contact information
Identification of the copyrighted work
The URL or description of the allegedly infringing content
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you are the owner or authorized to act
Your physical or electronic signature
We may remove content and/or terminate repeat infringers as appropriate.
16) Dispute Resolution (Two Options — choose one)
Option A (Simpler): Courts / Venue (No Arbitration)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought in the state or federal courts located in [Los Angeles County, California], and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Option B (Stronger): Binding Arbitration + Class Action Waiver (Optional)
If you want an arbitration clause, tell me and I’ll provide a clean, enforceable draft including: informal resolution period, arbitration rules, exceptions, and class-action waiver language. (Many companies prefer this, but it’s a strategic/legal choice.)
17) Governing Law
Unless you choose a different venue clause, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law principles.
18) Miscellaneous
Entire agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ejal regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
